About this workshop

Learn the keys to creating and communicating a strategic plan. During our introductory class, explore how Directors, CEOs, and Strategy Leads create a vision, form initiatives, and plan for uncertainty. You’ll learn what a strategic plan can accomplish, how to create one, and how you can guide an organization to greater results. This class will empower you with tools, techniques and best practices to create, enhance, and communicate your strategy.

Chart your own career path. Pick up where this workshop leaves off. Enhance your professional skill set in our part-time Product Management or Data Sciencecourses.

Prereqs & Preparation

This workshop is perfect for entrepreneurs and anyone looking to better understand organizational strategy and vision. No prior experience or knowledge is required, but we recommend reviewing a few articles before class: Strategy Needs Creativity, Impressions on ‘Strategy : A History’ by Lawrence Freedman, Strategic Planning for Nonprofits, The Parliament: Strategic Thinking Framework from the British Special Forces.

All participants must bring their own laptop to class, a strategic plan draft is optional.
