The design interview is a significant milestone in a job seekers journey and the single most important criterion employers use to determine if a candidate is qualified to be considered for employment with their organization. 98% of employers use this evaluation method before determining if a candidate should move on to the final stages of the interview process. In many ways, the design interview is the culmination of a job seeker’s hard work that provides professional validation that they are qualified to work as a tech professional in their chosen field.
This session is designed to focus on the fundamentals of critical and strategic thinking in order to productively leverage technical knowledge obtained during the GA bootcamp and to apply best practices to solve common design challenges and how to approach engaging with them.
In this session, you will:
Participants must be graduates from a GA bootcamp program and actively working with their career coach to secure employment in their field of study.
These sessions are designed for audience participation. Each session is an opportunity for attendees to practice and build confidence in their interview skills in a no-risk environment. There are often activities in breakout rooms so be prepared to come off mute and on camera.
This may require you to come out of your comfort zone but thats exactly what interviews will do too.
